Krewe of Excellence Hosts Spectacular Natchitoches Grande Coronation XII

Natchitoches, Louisiana — On Saturday, July 25, the Krewe of Excellence hosted its Grande Coronation XII, an elegant and joyful celebration honoring the rich heritage and vibrant culture of Natchitoches and Louisiana. Host Ronald K. Helaire, serving as Ball Captain XII, welcomed friends and family from across the state. The evening featured special guests from the NWLA Mardi Gras Captains’ Council, as well as fellow local Natchitoches organizations including the Krewe of The 9 and Krewe de Khulu. Together, these Mardi Gras enthusiasts enjoyed a memorable night filled with pageantry, fellowship, and authentic Louisiana spirit. The Grande Coronation highlighted the warmth, traditions, and festive energy that make Louisiana culture so unique. From the grand processional to the lively atmosphere, the event beautifully showcased the heart and soul of Natchitoches’ vibrant community.
