
NATCHITOCHES, La. – The City of Natchitoches is proud to welcome athletes, coaches, sports legends and visitors from across Louisiana for the 2026 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, taking place June 25-27.
Hosted annually in Natchitoches, the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Weekend celebrates the accomplishments of Louisiana’s greatest athletes, coaches, sportswriters and contributors while providing residents and visitors with a weekend full of entertainment, community events and opportunities to meet sports legends.
The 2026 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Class includes John Brady, Sylvia Fowles, Joe Horn, Jonathan Lucroy, Todd McClure, Mike McConathy, Warren Morris, Dewain Strother, Pat Williams, Kathy Holloway, John James Marshall and Gil Lebreton.

Thursday, June 25
• Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Weekend begins with events honoring the 2026 induction class and visiting Hall of Famers.
Friday, June 26
• Celebrity Bowling Bash | 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Four Seasons Bowling Center, Alexandria
• Participants will have the opportunity to bowl alongside Louisiana sports celebrities and Hall of Fame guests.
• Rockin’ River Fest | Downtown Natchitoches Riverbank
• Free community concert on the riverfront
• Connor Martin performs from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Blue Crab Redemption performs from 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
• Hall of Fame inductee and celebrity introductions at 9:15 p.m.
• Fireworks over Cane River Lake at 9:30 p.m.
• Taste of Tailgating
• Meet current and former Louisiana Sports Hall of Famers and sports legends.
• Features tailgate-inspired food stations, specialty cocktails, live music, photo opportunities and interactive activities.
• Interactive Kids Zone
• Family-friendly activities available throughout the evening for children and families.
Saturday, June 27
• LSHOF Junior Training Camp Presented by NRMC | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
• NSU Wellness, Recreation & Activity Center (WRAC)
• 322 Sam Sibley Drive, Natchitoches
• Free clinic for youth ages 7-17.
• Participants will learn drills and techniques used by NFL and NBA professionals while receiving instruction from members of the 2026 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Class, as well as Northwestern State University football and basketball coaches and student-athletes.
• Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
• Hall of Fame members, family, friends and supporters will gather to formally induct the newest members into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and celebrate the Class of 2026.
The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum, located in downtown Natchitoches, serves as the permanent home of Louisiana’s rich sports history and continues to attract visitors from across the state and nation.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the weekend’s activities and join in celebrating the outstanding achievements of Louisiana’s newest Hall of Fame inductees.
