Road Closures for Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival & Farmers Market

NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches would like to inform the public of upcoming road closures in preparation for the 29th Annual Natchitoches Jazz/R&B Festival, taking place May 15–16, 2026, in the downtown area.

The riverbank will be closed to vehicular traffic at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, to allow for festival setup and will remain closed until the conclusion of the event on Saturday night.

Beginning Friday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m., Front Street (from Church Street to St. Denis Street) and St. Denis Street (from Front Street to Second Street) will close to vehicular traffic and remain closed until the conclusion of the festival on Saturday, May 16.

Horne Street will become one-way from Front Street to Second Street beginning Friday afternoon and will remain one-way until festival cleanup is complete on Saturday night.

In conjunction with the Natchitoches Farmers Market, Front Street from Touline Street to Church Street will close on Saturday, May 10 at 6:00 a.m., and is expected to reopen at 1:00 p.m., following the conclusion of the market.
