NATCHITOCHES – The NSU Chamber Choir will be presenting “I Hear America Singing: A Concert of Spirituals” on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. A livestream of the concert will be available at http://www.nsu.la/CAPA-LIVE. Dr. Shane Thomas will conduct the choir.
This concert will feature timeless works derived from the African-American spiritual tradition by celebrated composers like Moses Hogan, Marques Garrett and Stacey Gibbs. 
Thomas invites listeners to experience this concert celebrating Black History Month and an essential fabric of the development of America’s voice.
