A Community With a Voice Shall Be Heard

NSU Social Work, NRMC CE Lunch and Learn Feb. 27

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Social Work will host a Lunch and Learn titled “One-Two Punch: Utilizing DBT and RO-DBT in Treating Eating Disorders” at noon Friday, Feb. 27 in the Nora Listach Conference Room at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. 

Helping professionals, students and the community are invited to bring their lunch and join the event, which will provide a practical overview of how DBT and RO-DBT work together to address emotion dysregulation and overcontrol in eating disorder treatment.  Participants will learn actionable skills to enhance clinical outcomes.  Stephanie Ryan MSW, LCSW-BACS, clinical director of Eating Disorder Treatment Centers of Louisiana, will be the presenter.

The program qualifies as one free hour of continuing education with completion of evaluation.
