Baseball — Demons’ home midweek finale against MVSU canceled because of inclement weather

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State’s final home midweek game of the 2025 baseball season has been canceled.



The Demons were set to host Mississippi Valley State at 6 p.m. Wednesday, but the threat of inclement weather forced the cancellation.



The teams originally were set to play March 12 at Brown-Stroud Field before travel issues and schedule changes kept the Delta Devils from making the trip to Natchitoches.



Northwestern will return to action Friday when they open a three-game Southland Conference series at Stephen F. Austin. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. at Pilgrim’s Park in Nacogdoches, Texas.
