Natchitoches, LA — September 30, 2025 — Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC) is proud to announce its inclusion in Becker’s Hospital Review’s “529 Top Hospitals for Nurse Communication” list, which highlights hospitals nationwide that earned a 5-star rating in nurse communication. This honor places NRMC among the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide to earn this distinction.
This recognition is based on results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, specifically measuring how well nurses communicate with patients. Hospitals on the list earned the top rating for clearly explaining information, listening carefully, and treating patients with courtesy and respect. Data for the ranking reflects patient experience surveys collected between October 2023 and September 2024.
